This position involves software development on next-generation flagship products related to IP-based convergence video transcoding, delivery systems and the associated transport of video assets over WANs to subscribers. 

Role Description

This position involves software development on next-generation flagship products related to IP-based convergence video transcoding, delivery systems and the associated transport of video assets over WANs to subscribers. 

The right incumbent will have chance to work closely with Research & Development (R&D) Global Team in different regions (HK, US, Europe, etc) to develop the business application for the R&D group

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions

• Participate in end-to-end system implementation and sustainment

• Prepare and update system documentation, operation guides and training material etc.

• Provide end-to-end system support and maintenance including remote support for mission critical applications

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines

• 0-3 yrs working experience

• Solid experience with object-oriented design and development C++/Java/C#

• Experience in development for system integration, business application, workflow

• Good command of English (written and spoken) and spoken Chinese

• Ability to interact with people at a variety of levels in multiple locations

• Willing to travel (e.g. US)
